BASIC NOTES on Different of b5M7 and #4mM7 Chords (Part 6-4)
Okay now we’ll moving to the next learning. Now
we will learn about b5M7 and #4mM7. Like at the study of previously.
M7 is mean Mezzo Dominant and mM7 is mean Minor Mezzo Dominant. If you don’t
understand, you can try to learn in here
first.
First, what is it the mean of b5 ?. b5
having of mean:
b = to lowering
of note
5 = at
position of the note
so, example: Cb5M7 having of mean:
C Key = C – E – G
M7 = B
b5 = position
of the note at G, then lowering the note so we get: Gb or F#
result of key = C – E – F# or Gb – B
You can see the table here:
In here we get the result, the dominant of b5 is F#
or Gb, and for the formula we can write like this:
If n b5M7 :
n b5M7 = C Key | b5 + M7
So how about #4mM7 ?. #4 is invert of b5
so are the mean is #4 having function to raise of note.
# = to raise
of note
4 = at
position of the note
so, example: C#4mM7 having of mean:
Cm Key = C – Eb or D# –
G
M7 = B
#4 = position
of the note at F, then lowering the note so we get: F# or Gb
result of key = C – Eb – F# or Gb –
B
You can see the table here:
In here we get the result, the dominant of #4 is F#
or Gb and D#, why 2 notes?, because that’s the minor’s type. And for the
formula we can write like this:
If n #4mM7 :
n b5mM7 = Cm Key | #4 + M7
Okay, that’s all. I hope this is will be useful for you. So,
see you next time in the new learning...
