BASIC NOTES on Different of b5mM7 and #4M7 Chords (Part 6-5)
Hello, now let’s we’re moving to the next
learn. By the way, now we will learn about what’s the mean of #4M7
and b5mM7. On basically #4M7 and b5mM7 are
same with b5M7 and #4mM7. But the difference is:
# mean have note elevating.
b mean have note lowering.
So that mean, on the functions of notes are
same really, the difference is just technic or music theory. You can use of
that of you really want.
If you still confuse, I will giving some example,
here it is (on #4M7):
C Key = C – E – G
M7 = B
#4 = position of the note at F, then elevate of the note so we’re get: F# or Gb
result of key = C – E – F# – B
M7 = B
#4 = position of the note at F, then elevate of the note so we’re get: F# or Gb
result of key = C – E – F# – B
You can see the image here:
In here we’re get the result, the dominant of #4
is F# or Gb, and for the formula we can write like this:
If n #4M7 :
n #4M7 = C Key | #4 + M7
n #4M7 = C Key | #4 + M7
next, example (on b5mM7):
Cm Key = C – Eb or D# –
G
M7 = B
b5 = position of the note at G, then lowering of the note so we’re get: F# or Gb
result of key = C – Eb – F# or Gb – B
M7 = B
b5 = position of the note at G, then lowering of the note so we’re get: F# or Gb
result of key = C – Eb – F# or Gb – B
In here we’re get the result, the dominant of b5
is F# or Gb and D#. And for the formula we can write like this:
If n b5mM7 :
n b5mM7 = Cm Key | b5 + M7
n b5mM7 = Cm Key | b5 + M7
See, this image:
That’s are same really, so want to use # or b?,
whatever :v
Ok, I hope this will be useful for you guys, then see you next time in new learning…
